Achieve Fast Weight Loss With Raw Food Diet
By Braydon Cassidy Platinum Quality Author

If you are looking for some ways for the fast weight loss then there is no other better option than to opt for the raw food diet. There are several instances where people have reported losing up to 15 pounds of weight in the very first week of using the raw food diet. However, before opting for this diet for the fast weight loss, you would need to know how to get the most out of it.

There are mainly two reasons why the raw food diet is a good option for the fast weight loss. First is its low calorific value. When you eat a definite amount of processed foods, you provide lots of calories to your body. But when you eat the same amount of raw foods, you get much lower calorific value on each of your bites. Moreover, you soon feel full when you eat the raw fruits and vegetables. So the raw diet is a good way to fill your stomach up, without ending up consuming lots of calories.

Another reason behind the success of this diet in making you lose weight fast is its digestive enzymes. When you eat such foods, you also get to consume variety of different digestive enzymes. These same digestive enzymes are not found in the processed foods. Thus, when you eat the processed foods, all the digestive work is done by the digestive enzymes which are already present in your body and you don't get any assistance from outside.

But the raw foods provide a variety of different digestive enzymes that help in breaking down the complex food particles into simpler ones. As a result the body doesn't get the chance to store fat in your body and you get fast weight loss results.

Eating Raw Benefits - 3 Simple Steps to Start a Raw Food Diet
By Ted Begnoche Platinum Quality Author

Eating raw benefits are many and varied. Not only does raw food taste better, it is far better for you nutritionally than cooked food. There's also less preparation time, which fits in conveniently with our already hectic lives.

It's simple to get more raw foods into your daily life. Below are three quick and easy steps you can take immediately so you can begin to see and feel the eating raw benefits.

  1. Don't think you have to 100 percent raw all at once. I think this is where most people experience the biggest stumbling block. It's extremely difficult to go all raw overnight, and in fact many raw food advocates are not 100 percent raw. I personally strive for 75 percent and most days I get there, but the important point to understand is that's it's not all or nothing. The raw food diet is perfect for gradually working into your daily life.
  2. Buy fresh and organic whenever possible. Organic food is much better for you than the regular stuff. I try to buy organic as much as I can. I realize it is more expensive and that finances are a concern for everyone these days, but the differences between organic and non-organic produce is remarkable. I also try to visit farmer's markets and farm stands whenever I can. Through this simple act you are not only supporting local businesses, but the freshness and quality of the food is much better.
  3. The last point is the easiest of all to say, but sometimes difficult to accomplish. You simply need to START. Instead of putting it off until another day, why not stop at the grocery store on your way home from work. Most stores these days have a wide variety of organic selections to choose from. Get started today!

By slowly and gradually working more and more raw foods into your daily routine, you'll begin to realize all the eating raw benefits. If you get started today, it won't be long before you notice a big difference in the way you look and feel.

Ted Begnoche invites you to download a copy of his FREE report detailing the simple scientific facts behind why eating more raw foods can help you lose weight have more energy and look and feel younger. Adding raw foods to your daily life can be both simple and extremely effective.

How to Succeed on the Raw Food Diet and Not Become Too Skinny
By Nic Masters Platinum Quality Author

On June 21, 2009 I took a decision, which has changed my life for good. On that day I decided to give the Raw Food Diet a try. I thought that I will test it for like one month, and see if the promised benefits of feeling good and energetic at all time, added to the weight loss of course, were right or not.

So I started this diet without feeling too much stress. In fact, the biggest stress came from the people around me. They were so shocked that I had quit eating, as they referred to my diet. But how are you going to survive without eating any bread or potatoes, or other sources of calories. How will you get your energy? Apparently for them raw fruits, nuts, and vegetables were not considered to be energy sources. But that was OK because their lack of belief did not change my conviction. Plus, there was something else, which made me stay with the Raw Food Diet.

I had read from people living on the Raw Food Diet that they felt much better emotionally and psychologically after they started the diet, and I soon found out how correct that was. I had never felt more centered in my life before! So, everything was fine on the emotional front. Of course, there were some challenges, the biggest one of which was the ensuing weight loss. In fact, I might have lost a bit too much weight, or at least that was the opinion of the people around me. By the way, they are all at least a little bit on the heavy side, so no wonder they felt I was too skinny. Perhaps they were jealous?

Anyways, there was the challenge of getting enough calories from fruits and vegetables, but I soon learned how to deal with it. I learned that I needed to eat good amounts of high-caloric fruits such as bananas and melons, plus I needed to get some fats from avocados and raw nuts. But again, it took me only a couple of months to get used to this change in lifestyle and to start enjoying it. The people around me were not enjoying this lifestyle change, but I definitely did not care as I felt great about it!

Finally, I would like to alert you of the only nutrient, which you can not get from raw fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Many people were asking me how I get my proteins, but of course, that is not a problem since there are enough proteins in the raw foods I was eating, so I was never worried about that - I only had a problem explaining to others how I get my proteins. However, there is one valid concern when going on the Raw Food Diet, and that is Vitamin B12. This vitamin is only contained in animal products such as meat and milk products, and is not found in any of the raw foods, except for raw meat of course, but we would not like to touch that. So for Vitamin B12, all you have to do is to take it as a supplement, and that is the only supplement you need to take. In fact, to be on the safe side, I take a multivitamin complex every day, which provides me with all the necessary microelements I need. Otherwise, I enjoy my raw food and feel greatly about it! Happy 1-Year Anniversary to me and my Raw Food Diet!
